How Your Customers Can Get Cleaner Wheels and You Can Increase Profitability.
You can get cleaner wheels if you know some of the basics about car washing. Now I know that if you are reading this post, you are already fully engaged in the industry. What I am going to be sharing with you are ways that you can leverage my knowledge and yours to get cleaner wheels at your wash.
It’s important that you first realize that you aren’t competing with only other car washes. You are trying to get your customers to give you a portion of their disposable income. Your customers have a lot of other choices from movies, dining out, coffee and many, many others. You have to deliver value.
Delivering value comes from many different sources. Are you giving them something that no other wash does? How about adding colors and/or fragrances into applications that normally don’t have them. Imagine having a purple presoak that smells like grapes. If you give your customers more than they are expecting, they will reward you with repeat business.
Part of giving value is giving your customers cleaner wheels. In addition to delivering clean, dry and shiny cars, you have to create an experience that they love. Are you providing the show that they want, need and desire? Are you cutting back needlessly on your chemical usage to save a few pennies? Don’t make the mistake that so many others make. Chemicals, if done properly, should be one of the smallest costs in your operation.
I won’t go into great detail about other things that you can do to deliver value in this post. I have handled a lot of those ideas in another post about marketing your wash. So as you can tell, getting cleaner wheels is not difficult. You just have to take a few minutes to follow the right steps.
